"For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone ."
Wash feet daily. Rinse off all soap and dry thoroughly‚ especially between toes.
Trim nails straight across‚ and not too short. Don’t cut out or dig at corners.
Wear shoes that fit properly and are made of leather or canvas. Sandals are good.
Switch shoes from day to day.
Wear footwear that supports the foot properly, reducing the chance of injury.
Choose footwear made of natural materials to help your feet to breathe.
Change stockings or socks at least once a day. Choose socks containing at least 70 per cent cotton or wool. Some socks made from man-made fibres can help keep sweat away from the skin, keeping the skin dry and reducing odour.
Vary your heel heights from day to day, one-day wearing low heels, and the next day slightly higher heels.
For everyday use, keep heel heights to about 2cm.
To refresh feet, massage gently with a foot roller, or better still, ask you partner to massage your feet
Keep a pumice stone handy so you can put it to work on those heels as you step out of the shower.
Use a few drops of essential oil in your next foot bath
Pamper your feet. Treat yourself to a pedicure.
If your ankles and feet are swelling, it’s a sure sign you are holding fluids. Try to avoid sitting for long periods at a time and cut down on your salt intake
I always keep in mind following quote:-
"The deep root of failure in our lives is to think, 'Oh how useless and powerless I am.' It is essential to think strongly and forcefully, 'I can do it,' without boasting or fretting".
