Simple Foot Care Tips

1. Wash you feet on a daily basis, in lukewarm soapy water. Thereafter, rinse them with cool water, dry with a towel and apply foot cream.

2. Whenever you get your feet wet, make sure to dry them thoroughly, especially between the toes.

3. The best time to buy shoes is later in the day, when the feet are a bit swollen. The shoes that feel comfortable at that time will surely be comfy at all times of the day.

4. If, and when, you go out in the sun wearing sandals, make sure to apply a sunscreen on your feet, just like the rest of your exposed body parts.

5. Scrub your feet, especially the heels, with a foot scrubber on a regular basis. It will help remove the dead cells and make you feet softer.

6. Before going to bed, wash you feet thoroughly, dry them with a towel and apply moisturizer generously, especially at the heels.

Homemade Skin Lightening Recipes

1. Almond & Honey Recipe:-
Almond is one of the best natural products that one can use for skin lightening, while honey works as a skin softener, emollient and humectant. For the purpose of this recipe, put ½ tablespoon of almond powder and 1 teaspoon of honey in a small bowl and mix well. Add a tsp of lemon to the mixture and stir once again. Now, apply the paste on your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Finally, rinse it off with cold water.

2. Almond & Milk Recipe:-
You can also make use of almond, in conjunction with milk, to form an effective skin lightening recipe. Grind a few almonds in the mixer and add enough fresh milk to the powder, to form a thick paste. Now, apply the paste on your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Finally, rinse it off with cold water. Use this paste on your face on a regular basis and you will be blessed with a good complexion.

3. Lemon Juice & Rose Water Recipe:-
Lemon juice has been seen to prove very effective in lightening the skin and get a flawless complexion. As you combine it with rose water, the efficacy is enhanced to quite an extent. In order to use the two, all you have to do is mix them in equal amounts. Now, apply the liquid on your face, with the help of a cotton ball, and rinse it off with cold water, after 15 minutes.

4. Sandalwood Powder Recipe:-
You can use sandalwood powder, as a face lightning mask, in two ways. One of them would require you to mix it with tomato juice, lemon juice and cucumber juice. The other option is to add 3 tsp of rose water to 3 tsp of sandalwood powder and form a paste. Apply either of the pastes on your face and rinse off with cold water, after 20 minutes.

5. Oatmeal & Tomato Recipe:-
Though most people are unaware of the fact, oatmeal can also go a long way in lightening your skin, especially by acting as an exfoliating agent and sloughing off your dried skin. Mix oatmeal, tomato juice and curd well and then apply the paste on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse it off with cold water. It will help you get rid of that horrible skin tan.

6. Yogurt Recipe:-
Apart from being extremely nutritious for your body, yogurt is also very good for your skin. Mix yogurt with the pulp of papaya or strawberries and add 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp olive oil and 2 tsp of oatmeal. Blend them well and make a paste. Now, apply the paste on your face and leave on for 20 minutes. Finally, rinse it off with cold water.

7. Gram Flour & Turmeric Recipe:-
Take a small bowl and put two tablespoons of gram flour in it. Now, add a pinch of turmeric, along with two teaspoons of milk. Mix the ingredients well and form a paste. Now, apply the paste on your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Finally, rinse it off with cold water. This recipe will not only help you remove a tan, but also provide you with a shiny, glowing complexion.

1. Potato or Cucumber Slices:-
Cut thin slices of potato or cucumber. Now lie down and put these slices on your eyes for fifteen minutes. Regular use will relief any discomfort of eyes and helps to remove dark circles within few days.

2.Used Tea Bags:-
Yes! These used teabags that are supposed to be thrown directly to the waste bin, could really help you. Put them in cold water, till they are really cold. Now lie down and place on your eyes for fifteen minutes. Again regular use is required to eliminate dark circles completely.

3.Rose Water:-
Soak two cotton balls in rose water, now slightly compress to take away any extra water and put these balls on your eyes. Again wait for fifteen minutes and repeat this daily to get good results.

4.Nutmeg & Milk:-
During night before you sleep apply nutmeg + milk in and around eyes wash it in morning.surely you wil see the change.

5.MASK FOR DARK CIRCLES:-
You can use this simple mask twice a week for dark circles, all you need is,
Finally chopped fresh potatoes 2 table spoons
Honey half table spoon
Cool potatoes in ice chilled water for five minutes. Now mix honey and mask this mixture on your eyes in laying position. Relax your body and wait for twenty minutes. Now remove this with ice water and repeat twice a week.

TIPS TO PREVENT DARK CIRCLES:-

* Proper sleep is very important. Take good sleep for six to eight hours daily.

* Good diet is reflected by your skin. Take well balanced diet rich in rich in iron and Vitamin A, like carrots.

* Exercise increases blood supply to the skin and so does to the eyes and skin around the eyes.
Consequently you will see a difference in the intensity of dark circles under your eyes.

* Cold water is very good for your eyes, wash them daily in the morning with cold water.

* Protect your eyes from direct sunlight and smoke. Use sun glasses whenever sun exposure is expected.

* By the time your dark circles are under treatment, use a good dark circle concealer to hide them.

Method:-

1. Place the hand over a plastic bag or a sheet of tin foil to protect your work surface.

2. Ensure the was is not too hot by testing it on the inside of your wrist first. When the temperature is just right, brush on or drizzle the warmed was over the area, remembering to apply to the underside of the hand first. This is because the skin on the palm is thicker and needs longer treatment time to achieve the same effect as on the back of the hand.

3. Wrap the waxed area up in the foil or plastic bag and then a towel for about 10 minutes.

4. Unwrap the area and pull away the wax to reveal super soft, warm hands. Be aware of contra-indications as although the warm wax is good for dry skin, any open wounds will feel painful. Also, any contagious diseases could be encouraged to cross infect in the warm confined environment so avoid this treatment if you have any open wounds.
